The Ito Onsen Ryokan & Hotel Cooperative is a group of “accommodation professionals” representing more than 80 diverse lodging facilities in Ito. Based in Ito Onsen, which boasts one of the highest discharge volumes of hot spring water in Japan, the cooperative offers styles to meet every guest’s needs—from long-established ryokans featuring traditional Sukiya-style architecture to modern hotels and affordable guesthouses.
They cherish the quintessential Japanese hot spring atmosphere, where guests stroll through the town in yukata to visit the various public bathhouses scattered throughout the area. Each inn promises an ultimate relaxation experience, featuring unique hot springs and cuisine crafted with original touches.
